As if her toe-curling appearance on Celebrity Big Brother was not embarrassing enough for her husband, Sally Bercow is to go even further.

In a move that is sure to further annoy her husband, the wife of Commons Speaker John Bercow is to share a caravan with Irish traveller Paddy Doherty, who won CBB, for a Channel Five reality show.

The pair will start filming When Paddy Met Sally in north Wales next month, with Doherty's wife Rosemary moving out as 41-year-old Mrs Bercow moves in.

Mrs Bercow has previously admitted her husband was less than pleased with her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother, and her latest grab for the spotlight could bring further tension to a marriage that some say is already under strain.


It has not yet been decided whether Doherty, 52, will then move into the Bercows' grace-and-favour Westminster flat.

The former bare-knuckle fighter was invited on to Celebrity Big Brother after appearing on the Channel 4 show Big Fat Gypsy Weddings. He made it clear he thought the 6ft Mrs Bercow, who has already shown him around Westminster, would get on his nerves.

He said: 'I'm getting paid a few bob to live with her for a few weeks. I told the people when I signed up that I'm likely to murder her.

'She better know that I can't cook and clean. I can wash a cup but that's about it. If she tells me to start cooking and cleaning, I'm going to kick off. I'll teach her something about gipsy life, that's for sure. She'll know what travelling is all about when I've finished with her.'

Doherty said: 'We got on diamond in the Big Brother house so I've agreed to come and let her live with me for two weeks.

'I think me woman will move out for a week but not sure what's happening the other way round, whether I'll move in to the House Of Commons with her.

'I told the people when I signed up that I'm likely to murder her.'
Mrs Bercow, who infamously posed in nothing but a bed sheet with Big Ben and the House of Commons as a backdrop for ES magazine, told how her marriage had suffered as her husband had asked her not to go on Celebrity Big Brother last month.

She was the first contestant voted out of by the public, but she maintained that she stood by her appearance and was 'very proud' after raising £100,000 for AaA, a charity for children with autism of which she and Mr Bercow are parent patrons.

One of their three children, seven-year-old son Oliver, is autistic, and Mrs Bercow added: 'I'm very proud to be a parent patron of Ambitious about Autism and it has to be said that I was very proud to go into the Big Brother house to support Ambitious about Autism, and indeed that was my main motivation, although it was a blast as well.

'My husband John is also a parent patron of Ambitious about Autism and avery enthusiastic supporter, although he wasn't quite as enthusiastic about me going into the Big Brother house it must be said.'

She had given Doherty a guided tour of Westminster after he won Celebrity Big Brother and said: 'I'd love to do a show with Paddy about the traveller community, or 'Celebrity Wife Swap'.

'I don't think John would be up for that but it would be hilarious. I love reality television and I'd love to do something with Paddy.'

She added: 'He's such a wonderful man. He's invited me to come and stay with him, and I'm definitely going.

'We're actually very similar people. We're both very blunt and forthright. Our values are the same.'

As for Doherty, he stressed that his wife would not have to worry: 'Me woman doesn't need to be jealous, there's no need for anything like that.

'I'm going to have the best craic in the world. She won't be talking non-stop like she did in the Big Brother house.

'I'm not sure we're going to get on living together proper, like. She's very straight forward and blunt. I've told her a few times if she carries on like that with me, I'll kick off. I'm going to kill her. I know I will.'

A Channel 5 source last night confirmed Mrs Bercow would be moving in with Doherty for a new reality show to be screened in the new year.

The source said producers were still discussing where Doherty would stay during filming in London where he sampled Mrs Bercow's daily life.

Can't sing, can't dress... but Frankie Cocozza continues his tawdry bid to become X Factor's resident bad boy rocker ...

Bad boys for life: Frankie Cocozza continued his bid to become X Factor's resident rocker as he left The Roxy club in London on Tuesday night after pulling five women


Gary Barlow was said to be so determined that his X Factor boys would perform well this weekend that he banned them from drinking and frolicking with women.

But it seems that poor-performing baby rocker Frankie Cocozza is exempt from his directive.

After a terrible performance last week on the show which saw him land in the bottom two, the 18-year-old singer was photographed leaving The Roxy club in London with several women on his arm.


He has become more famous for his tacky tattoos - a list of his conquests on his bottom - and it seems that show bosses may be keen to exploit that reputation as despite his lacklustre performance the 18-year-old had a 'free night' which allowed him to go and paint the town red with friends.

The rock star in training looked slightly worse for wear and allegedly had five women in tow, all adding to the legend being crafted for the singer.

The singer went drinking in Tottenham Court Road and a source told MailOnline: 'Frankie ended up pulling five girls, as well as doing shots at the bar and showing off his dirty dancing skills.

'He left the club with five women including a pair of twins he later slept with.'

Frankie apparently didn't get home from his jaunt until 7am the next morning, when he returned to the X Factor house in Hertfordshire looking bleary-eyed.

One wouldn't have thought that Take That star Barlow would have thought this would be ideal preparation for rehearsals ahead of this weekend's make or break live shows.

However a source close to the show's production team merely said: 'Frankie's over 18 and it was his night off.'

The teen didn't look too concerned about the reports, indeed looking proud of his conquests as he arrived at the rehearsal studios yesterday morning, appearing very smug as he clutched a copy of a tabloid newspaper which no doubt contained news of his exploits.

The acceptance of Frankie's behaviour is all the most surprising as the finalists have been hauled in for crisis talks after ratings dropped to a two-year low with more than two million viewers switching off.

Show bosses have blamed the poor appearance and lax attitude of contestants for the sudden plunge in viewers tuning in each week especially as the new judging panel Gary Barlow, Tulisa, Kelly Rowland and Louis Walsh have well received since the start of the new series.

Senior production crew told the finalists theyweren't living up to the show's 'brand', had alienated their audience by refusing to talk to fans and spent too much time 'slobbing around in pyjamas.'

A source told The Sun: 'It was a pretty fiery talking to from some of the senior production team. The acts were told in no uncertain terms what was expected of them.'

Clearly, Frankie remains exempt from the supposed new standards now being demanded.

Frankie's night out came after Beccy Shaw, with whom he enjoyed a brief fling during the bootcamp stage of The X Factor, told heat magazine he had boasted to her than he had already slept with 64 girls, including an older woman with children.

Beccy, 18, told Heat magazine: 'We did get together, but it wasn't like what he said - we didn't sleep together.

'I stayed in his room on the last night (at boot camp), but Luke Lucas and about five other people were in there, too.

'He was very proud of his conquests, though. He told me he'd slept with 64 people. He'd been a club rep in Malia and got a lot of attention out there. He even told me he'd got with someone who was 26 with two kids.'

Beccy said Frankie soon turned his attentions from her to Amelia Lily who was later axed from X Factor on the first live show by her mentor Kelly Rowland.

She added: 'He plays the game very well. He'll go up to a girl and be mean, then make it better by saying something nice. He'll keep you on your toes.

'But it bothers him if a girl doesn't go for him. He's got a very big ego and if girls don't like him he really takes it to heart.'

She's only just completed a six-month driving ban for speeding, but Katie Price clearly hasn't learned her lesson about being responsible behind the wheel.

The glamour model was spotted dangerously pulling a black jacket over her face while maneuvering her pink Range Rover last night.

She seemed eager to make a quick dash from the Elstree Studios where she attended the premiere of Paranormal Activity 3, at the Big Brother house.

Can you see through that? Katie completely covered her head with the black jacket while driving away as her friends looked on

Katie, who already has a string of driving offences under her belt, was already wearing a park of dark sunglasses which would have surely obscured her vision.

One of her two heavily made-up friends in the vehicle handed her the coat and at one stage it completely covered her head with only her right hand seen poking out underneath, holding on to the steering wheel.

Perhaps the 33-year-old was feeling self-conscious. She admitted last week that her obsession with plastic surgery has ruined her looks.

What a host: Katie was joined by two friends who she apparently made fill up the car and pay , refusing to get out of the vehicle

Because of her frequent use of sunbeds, she said: 'I cane my body like it's leather.'

When she stopped at a local petrol station on her way home, Katie apparently refused to get out of her car, making her friends pump the gas and pay as she sat behind the wheel.

The mother-of-three received a six-month driving ban in December last year after she was clocked at 83mph in her Range Rover.

She was fined £1,000 and given three penalty points after she admitted breaking a 70mph limit on the A23 in Pyecombe, West Sussex.

It took her over the 12-point limit and brought an automatic ban.

Katie had already accumulated ten penalty points and more than £2000 in fines for speeding and careless driving.

In October 2003 she escaped a speeding charge on a technicality after cops failed to arrest her within 12 weeks. Her range Rover was allegedly clocked at 70mph in a 40mph zone.

And back in June 2008 she got three points for talking on her mobile phone while driving and in July last year she was given four more after being clocked speeding at 99mph.

In September she was given three points for not being in proper control of a vehicle after veering across motorway lanes in her 7.5-ton pink horsebox, taking her tally to ten. The next month she was spotted driving while talking on her mobile phone.

Katie certainly wasn't thinking about her past legal troubles last night as she attended the movie screening.

She happily posed with former Another Level singer Dane Bowers, who she previously dated from 1998 to 2000, on the red carpet.

It was the first time she has been reunited with her ex since splitting from Spanish heart-throb Leandro Penna.

Earlier this year, Katie was quoted as saying: 'I’ve been hurt before. I’ve been heartbroken badly, when I split from Dane. He was the only guy who completely taught me about having your heart broken.

'I’ve always said that Dane’s the one who did that. Because of Dane, he’s made me have my barriers up and even with Pete, I’d like to say they all went down but there were a couple up still.'

Katie stayed warm in the cold weather at the Hertfordshire studios in a printed jumper, brown leggings and matching boots as she posed with Bowers and her pregnant friend Michelle Heaton, who donned a sparkly dress and black tights for the occasion.

The trio were just three of the celebrities who walked the red carpet at the very first film premiere to be held at the Big Brother house.

And the housemates inside the property were given the chance to mingle with the celebrity guests, as the red carpet ran through the length of the house.

Other famous faces at the event included Made In Chelsea's Agne Motiejunaite and Gabriella Ellis, as well as Lucien Laviscount and Paddy Doherty, who were returning to the house for the first time since appearing on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year.

My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding star Paddy, who was crowned the winner of the Channel 5 reality show, looked delighted to be making a return to his one-time home, smiling widely for photographers as he posed up outside.

The Paranormal Activity 3 premiere was just one of the spooky things going on inside the Big Brother house this week ahead of Halloween on October 31st.

The housemates have a few scares in store after Anton and Jay were sent to a secret crypt with the power to watch their fellow contestants, who believed they had been evicted from the house.

They now have the power to change the Friday nominations after being granted 'ghost' status, with the added responsibility of the 'all seeing presence'.

And last night Lauren Goodger stepped out in yet another unflattering outfit as she hit the town in London wearing an incredibly short black dress.

Lauren's night out came as she admitted during an episode of The Only Way Is Essex that she and Mark had spent the night together just a week previously.

Her admission came as something of a surprise given that relations haven't exactly been civil between the formerly engaged pair, following Lauren's revelations that she had aborted Mark's baby.

Talking to her sister Nicola, Lauren said: 'I saw Mark once and I was drunk last week.'

Talking recently about her love of fashion, Anne said she likes to stand out from the crowd in stylish outfit combinations.

She said: 'I adore clothes - they're my weakest link! My mother was the same and she taught me always to look polished.

'I like to look put together without trying too hard. I don't want to look as if God's made another rainbow - I prefer muted, autumnal colours, like most fading redheads.'

Anne's outfit was a far cry from the chic ensemble she donned last month as she celebrated her 67th birthday with a shopping trip in London.

Liverpool-born Miss Robinson, who has had more than £9,000 of cosmetic procedures, including a facelift, has recently begun dating Sotheby’s International chairman and fellow divorcee Robin Woodhead, seven years her junior.

It is her first significant relationship since her 27-year marriage to her former manager John Penrose officially ended four years ago.

Earlier this year the twice-married presenter said in an interview: ‘I’m not going to marry a third time. It is just not necessary.

'It is quite hard at my age to find someone that punches at your weight.

'I am dating, but it is hard to find someone quick enough and funny enough. I am quite demanding.'

Miss Robinson has a fortune estimated at £60million, much of which comes from the success of The Weakest Link, which is set to end next year after a 12-year run.

The unlikely couple: Catherine Tate 'enjoying secret romance with Take That singer Jason Orange'

They are surely one of the most unlikely couples in showbiz history.

But comedian Catherine Tate and singer Jason Orange have been enjoying a secret romance over the past few months, it has been claimed.

The pair, who first met when they took part in a Comic Relief sketch back in March, are said to have been on a string of dates in recent weeks, including an overnight trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon.

A source told The Sun: 'They were trying to keep things secret but looked very loved up and happy together.

'It's a very unlikely pairing but they have really hit it off. They've been on a number of dates to the theatre and the cinema.

'They really enjoy each other's company. Catherine deserves someone nice and she has landed on her feet with Jason.

'But they have both been desperate to keep their romance secret.'

Catherine, 43, and Jason, 41, first struck up a friendship when the redheaded comedienne took on the role of Jason in spoof band Fake That for the sketch.

She starred alongside James Corden, Alan Carr, Kevin Bishop and David Walliams as the fake Take That.

After getting on well while filming the footage, the pair stayed in touch and their romance is thought to have blossomed this summer, following Catherine's split from stage manager partner Twig Clark.

As well as going to see A Midsummer Night's Dream in Stratford, Catherine and Jason have apparently been spotted on dates to the cinema, the National Theatre and at a coffee shop near Jason's flat in West London.

Catherine shot to fame playing Lauren Cooper, famous for her catchphrase 'Am I Bovvered?' in her TV sketch show, before landing a role in Doctor Who.

She has also forged a career for herself in the theatre world, having recently starred alongside David Tennant in Much Ado About Nothing.

While Catherine's most recent relationship was with Clark, who was stage manager for her play at the National Theatre, Jason has remained quiet about his personal life during his time in the spotlight.

He has, however, been romantically linked to stars including singer Lulu and TV presenter Jenny Powell.
