Arrested Development
Arrested Development is an American television series created by Mitchell Hurwitz for Fox Broadcasting Company. Centers in the history of the issue on the Bluth family, a former rich dysfunctional family and usually presented in a continuous format, with the camera handheld, narration, archival photos and historical footage. Ron Howard is an executive producer and uncredited narrator. Although set in Newport Beach and Balboa Island, California, was arrested on development mainly revolved around Culver City and Marina del Rey. Three seasons of the show was produced and aired between 2003 and 2006.
Since its debut November 2, 2003, the series won six Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe, widespread critical acclaim and attracted a cult following, including the websites of several fan-based, and in 2007 been listed as one of Time Magazine "100 Best TV shows all hours."
Despite the approval of the critics, Arrested Development never climbed the ratings. Fox aired the final four episodes of the third period, as the block of two hours of the series finale, February 10, 2006, before the opening of the 2006 Winter Olympics (which are now sent to NBC). Despite the cancellation, the series was dedicated cult following and fans. Manuscript is currently in development movie adaptation of Arrested Development. The main cast of the TV series reprise their roles.
On October 2, 2011, it was announced that plans for the show in exchange for nine or ten episodes that will lead to a movie.
